Tehachapi Terror’s Beginnings

Tehachapi Terror is a locally run, registered non-profit haunted attraction created by Paul and Steph Saladino, who made Tehachapi their home in 2020 after moving from Palmdale. Paul is an independent filmmaker and also serves as the Visual Asset Creator for Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue. Steph brings years of experience in special effects makeup and a lifelong passion for haunted houses.
Since its modest debut in 2021, Tehachapi Terror has grown significantly each year, becoming a beloved seasonal tradition. Entirely volunteer-driven, the haunt has raised over $4,000 for charity, reinforcing its commitment to giving back to the community.
Each season, Tehachapi Terror is made possible through the support of local volunteers, donations, and sponsorships from generous businesses throughout the area.
